Jeremy and Gina Sink were married in 1995, just before Jeremy began seminary at RTS in Charlotte, N.C. During seminary, Jeremy served as an intern and then assistant pastor at Meadowview Church in Lexington, N.C. In 1999, the family moved to the nearby city of Asheboro to plant Grace Fellowship, which became Meadowview’s first daughter church. While in Asheboro, God opened their eyes to the need for ordained pastors to help plant new churches in Japan where only two percent of the population is Christian.
Over the last decade, MTW has seen strong progress in the city of Nagoya. The team has established Nisshin Christ Church, an accredited Christian school (K-9), and a seminary to train future Japanese leaders. Building from this foundation, Jeremy and Gina intend to help plant a network of churches throughout the city. At this stage, the team has a critical need for experienced pastoral leadership to come alongside of Japanese Christians to plant new churches. By God’s grace, the Sinks will assist in this pivotal plan and help to advance the gospel in this strategic Japanese city.
